I Will peacefully handover power to anyone who wins this year’s elections, Nana Akuffo Addo urges Ghanaians.
His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo ,the president of the Republic of Ghana has urged Ghanaians to be calm and continue to hold the peace of the country because he is ever ready to handover power peacefully to any presidential candidate who wins the 2024 December 7th general elections .
According to the first gentleman of the land president Akuffo Addo, he said not his regime that Ghana will turn ups and down because of power struggles, he assures Ghanaians of total peaceful elections and safeguard of the country’s constitution ahead of the upcoming general elections.
Speaking on records , he said Ghana have had uncountable peaceful elections since 1992 to 2020 and it will continue to be as it is, he said if the citizens trust in you and vote for you like how the citizens voted massively for him in the 2016 general elections nothing will stop him from handing over power to the president elect and will continue to serve as a state representative if they call on him.
